"You're Lucky"

... said Momma as she gave me a huge hug today, with her eyes tearing up a bit. Usually she tells me how lucky she was to have found me, so it's unusual for her to tell me that. I was about to write it off with an "auntie flow must be visiting", but then mommy told me what happened today. Yes she's overreacting because "auntie" is visiting, but it does make me feel a bit lucky that mommy and I found each other.

Mommy always comes home late on Wednesdays, since she goes to her parents for dinner so she can play with uncle brother hidaka. As she walked from the train station to her parents home, a grey persian kitty ran up to mommy for some cuddles. Mommy played with the kitty and checked his tag. His name was Papsi, and he lived a couple miles away. Mommy tried calling the number on the tag, but there was no answer. She didn't know what to do. Mommy doesn't drive, and knew that her parents will not let Papsi in the house so she was in a state of panic. She was worried what might happen to him since he obviously wasn't a stray (and stupidly even ran into the street at one point), and all four paws were declawed. She imagined how terrified for my safety she would be if i ever ran away from home.

Luckily mommy ran into a nice family, and asked them for help. They all stood around trying to locate the address on their phones, and chain called the number on the tag. Finally the dad walked home, got his car and cat carrier so that they could drive Papsi home. Grandma came outside to check up on mommy since she was late coming home, and recognized the kitty from when she visited a friend that lives a block away. Papsi was wandering around then too, and grandma's friend told her that her tenant watched cats for people ever since she became unemployed. Grandma went to go see if this person was home, and came back with Holly. Mommy doesn't like Holly at all. Holly said it was her girlfriends cat, and she's told her many times to change the address on the tag since someone will kidnap him because he's too friendly. Yes, it's important to have updated information on ID tags, but that wasn't the point. He should be an indoor only kitty for many reasons. Mommy and the family she was with tried to explain this to her, that Papsi should be kept indoors since he was fully declawed. Holly ignored them, and grabbed Papsi. Mommy doesn't even think she knew Papsi's name. She kept calling him Lawrence. Mommy's worried about Papsi, and wishes that someone that could provide a better home for him would kidnap him before it's too late.

Stupid WoW...

and stupid mommy. Mommy and daddy recently started playing World of Warcraft again. If you don't know what it is, it's a mommanapper. Ever since she started playing, I have noticed a significant decline in attention that I get and it's pissing me off. I also have no idea when the last time she cleaned was. There's a basket of clean laundry from last saturday left out that she might as well just wash again, dust bunnies everywhere, junk scattered everywhere....arrggghh! Anyways I've given the game a few tries but I really don't see what the big deal is. I am a gazillion times cuter.

Here I am testing out the game while mommy makes dinner :

Mia

I made a new friend today. Her name is Mia and she's four.

Our mommies have known each other ever since they were our age. Since Mia's grandparents were out of town, her mommy asked my mommy if she could watch Mia for a few hours while she attended a meeting. I wasn't happy. I don't like kids, they scare me. I would never hurt them, but I will not go near them either. I stay about 5 ft away and stare at them.
But Mia was a good girl. She gave me space, and was very patient. By the end of the night I even sat next to her a bit and played. I was still very skittish but mommy was very proud of me.

Turd

I had a little accident today. Actually two. Mommy found my ABC breakfast on the floor first and cleaned that up. Then on her way to the litterbox she saw this...

She points to it and says "Zero, what's this?!" it's obviously poop. She's stupid.

Doppelgänger?

Not too long ago, Auntie Sannie sent mommy this link asking her if the kitty in the photo was me. Mommy thinks there's a slight chance it might be. Not only do we look identical, we seem to react the same way to being held like that, and i was also surrendered from a multipet household.  Until mommy learns Catese, I guess she'll never find out the truth.

Momma's cheating again...

Auntie San and PK came to visit me today. They came with yummy chinese food. After I finished my dinner I joined them at the coffee table for some yummy garlic noodles and shrimp from P.F. Changs. After dinner I got a pinch of a cinnamon sugar cupcake from "sprinkles". Mommy and Auntie San were both disappointed since there was no frosting on it. I still liked it.
After dinner they all disappeared. When they came back hours later they smelled like cats! Mommy said she played with the cutest little kittens. Shelli the new cat mommy only planned on going home with Eva but James fell in love with Brooklyn and so they ended up adopting two. Mommy said they were both super cute, playful and tiny. I'm jealous.

Eva - 4 months

Brooklyn - 2 months
